Man's best friend...woman's, I beg to differ,

"You and my dog are the only two people I say I love you to." This still sends shivers down my spine. Men and their dogs. It was love at first bark. They obey, listen quietly, sit, give paw, roll over, and play dead, all on command without asking questions of second guessing.
Men with dogs whom they absolutely adore should be looked upon with suspicion. Trust me, I know what I am talking about. The more men I date the more reassured I become of my little thesis here: If a man talks to his dog as if it were a baby, and if he talks or compares the love he has for his dog with the feelings he has for you, well, to put it plainly and blatantly, do not expect a happily ever after with this person, unless you also can joyfully roll over and play dead on command.
If a man is completely infatuated and in love with his dog, and you come into his life and expect him to love you as well...well, you will have a lot to live up to. Because, you probably do have an opinion and will question certain things that he will not want to answer or think about.

If love is realizing that you can not live without a person, what happens when you are not together anymore and you realize that you are still alive? *gasp* Does it mean that you never loved them in the first place?
But then, what should those of us who believe they have loved expect? To fall dead, or be so completely heart broken that we lose the will to be happy and move on with our lives? Is this not what fairy tales gone bad are made of?
When you are in a relationship with someone and they make you so happy that you tell yourself you will not be able to live without them because they almost make your life what it is, how do you go on after you two are not together? Especially when you realize that you can breathe and obviously live without this person just fine? Does this mean you never loved them in the first place, even though you were so sure this was the real deal when you two were together? Were you a fool in love? Or, were you just fooled that what you had was love?

Love and Fashion on the brain.

Love is hard to define. It has no boundaries, no fears. It is complicated, crazy, and frustrating. But when do we know that its for real? When we can't fall asleep because we are consumed with thoughts of him/her? When he/she pops is the first thing that pops into our heads when we wake up and the last thing that is on our minds when we fall asleep? Or is it when we feel as if we cannot possibly live without this person in our lives and by our side?

Well....been there, done that, is one thing i can say with certainty!

If we think we love someone, can we be completely head over heels over him/her one day and not be impressed at all with them the next day? I hope wish to believe so! (Because if it is not true then i am in a little pickle my friends.)

I know i've been away for quite some time now but i am back stronger then ever, hehe.
Anyways im gona fill u in on my some what new job. I work as the guestlist girl at a club downtown in Toronto. It can be an amazing, exciting and fun job, but it can also be a bit freaky.
Take last night for example. I was minding my own business checking people in if they were on the guestlist and out of no where this guy comes up and takes another guy buy his shirt collar and smashes his head against the brick wall of the club :O :O :O I KNOW
I was freaking out, and then 6 of our huuuuuge bouncers jumped on him and started ripping the 2 guys apart who were in a full out brawl by now.!!! It was a sight i did not want to witness. It really shook me up :(
About 10 minutes later, the head bouncer tells this one guy to not enter the club because we were at out capacity. Obviously, this guy thinks he is important and decides to enter anyways. BAD IDEA! The head bouncer literally picks him up and throws him out on the street!!! If the manager of the club was not standing outside the bouncer would have probably beat the poor fella up....what can i say he's one angry big guy.
Well, thats what happened last night. And it really scared me because i hate witnessing fights especially when i am working and they occur one step away from me.

WOW, i have not posted in forever...exams and final papers are a killer, what can i say.
Anyways, i've still managed to find time to party haha, my love for dancing and clubbing will not be diminished just b/c i have finals and essay, hehe

Where is the drama!!!

I am strange. When absolutely nothing is wrong in a relationship, i feel as if something is not right. But why??? Can i not just realise that maybe this is the way relationships need to be, that not all of them have to have something wrong with them? God! Perhaps it is the constant brainwashing that "nothing and no one is perfect" so deeply installed in my head, that i cannot accept the fact that maybe nothing is wrong. Maybe this relationship is perfect. Maybe i am yearning for something to be wrong because i feel it is the norm. Because in the past, not one of my relationships have been perfect, and usually when they have been i felt as if they were not real, and usually gave up on them. This is sad to admit, but i feel as if i need something to be off in order for me to feel as if the relationship is going in the right direction. Am i just addicted to drama in my life? Which i have been exposed to for waaaay too long. Or is this finally the time in my life when i can be in a long term relationship, head over heels in love, not caring about getting hurt, giving myself completely to someone, and never thinking twice about it? But am i capable of doing that at such a tender age of 20? Good question.

I went to C Lounge this Monday and there was a huge party for Mel B from the Spice Girls. It was pretty fun except that i hate it when it gets too crowded, but seriously what did i expect?
